Another week, another round of Good Games Championship events!
This past week, Good Games Chatswood played host to a tournament of just over 25 Planeswalkers battling it out to qualify for the Kaldheim season!
Good Games Chatswood ran their first event as Modern, and there was a nice spread of archetypes across the field, including Grixis Death’s Shadow, Heliod Company, Eldrazi Tron, Elves, and much more - even a Dragonstorm deck made an appearance.
The Top 4 competitors all qualified for the Season Championships event in April - but it was Lennox To who won the event piloting Rakdos Midrange!
Of course, this wouldn’t be a Modern event if we didn’t see some super powerful decks. Let’s take a look at Liam Strain’s Izzet Storm list. Liam just missed out on Top 4 with this deck, which really speaks to the skill and sportsmanship (and wizardry) of his fellow competitors.
