Prepare for the biggest battles you’ve ever seen in our Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution Prerelease tournaments! Entry for each tournament is $25, which includes the Build & Battle Box you will use for the tournament. We will be holding five Prerelease tournaments:
- Saturday, September 13th at 11am
- Saturday, September 13th at 1:30pm
- Sunday, September 14th at 11am
- Monday, September 15th at 7pm
- Thursday, September 18th at 7pm
You’ll have 30 minutes to open your Build & Battle Box and build a 40-card deck (additional basic Energy cards will be provided if needed). After all decks are built, we will have a short 3-round tournament (Swiss, best of 1), during which you can receive more booster packs!

What should I bring?

* Your Player ID number. If you don’t have a Player ID, you can create one at https://club.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-trainer-club/play-pokemon/setup/ .
* Damage counters, Burn and Poison condition markers, and a coin or other randomizer. If you don’t have some or all of these, ask event staff to borrow some.
* Yourself! Make sure you arrive on time. If you are late, you may have limited time to build your deck or not be able to play in the event, so make sure to arrive on time!
