Entry is $15 for players in all age divisions. Prizing will be announced at the event, with prizing varying based on attendance. Top finishers will earn Championship Points toward an invitation to compete at the Pokémon World Championships.

This tournament will follow the TCG Single Day structure as detailed in the Tournament Rules Handbook. Each round of Swiss will be best of 1 with 30 minutes, plus 3 turns, and all rounds of Single Elimination will be best of 3 with 50 minutes, plus 3 turns. The number of rounds will be based on number of players in the event. As with all Pokémon TCG Championship Series events, this tournament will be in the Standard format as defined in the official rules.

NOTE: Tournaments may be cancelled if less than four players are registered as of 10pm the night prior. If this occurs, registrants will be refunded and notified via email.

What should I bring?

• Your Player ID number. If you don’t have a Player ID, you can get one on the Pokémon website.
• A 60-card deck with a filled out deck list. A blank list can be found on the Pokémon website – there will be blank lists available at the tournament as well. If you have your list ready ahead of time, you can email it to goodgames@chicagopokemon.com.
• Damage counters, Burn and Poison condition markers, and a coin or other legal randomizer. If you don’t have some or all of these, ask event staff to borrow some.
• Yourself! Make sure you arrive on time. If you are late, you may not be able to play in the event, so make sure to arrive in time to submit your list!
