Join us for our quarterly “big” Pokémon TCG Gym Leader Challenge tournament! The tournament will start at 12pm, with deck list submission from 11:30am to 12pm. Sign up on our Ticketleap HERE!
Entry is $10 for players in all age divisions. Prizing will be announced at the event, with prizing varying based on attendance.
This tournament will follow the TCG Swiss Rounds Only structure as detailed in the Tournament Rules Handbook, meaning all players will play all rounds. The number of rounds will be based on number of players in the event. This tournament will use the Gym Leader Challenge fan format.
NOTE: Tournaments may be cancelled if less than four players are registered as of 10pm the night prior. If this occurs, registrants will be refunded and notified via email.
What is the format for GLC?
- Only one of each card with the same name per deck (except Basic Energy)
- No Rule Box cards or ACE SPEC cards
- Only one type (color) of Pokémon per deck
- Cards printed from Black & White–on
- Foreign language and World Championship cards allowed.
What should I bring?
- Your Player ID number. If you don’t have a Player ID, you can create one at https://club.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-trainer-club/play-pokemon/setup/.
- A 60-card deck with a filled out deck list. A blank list can be found at https://judgeball.com/decklist – there will be blank lists available at the tournament as well.
- Damage counters, Burn and Poison condition markers, and a coin or other randomizer. If you don’t have some or all of these, ask event staff to borrow some.
- Yourself! Make sure you arrive on time. If you are late, you may not be able to play in the event, so make sure to arrive in time to submit your list!
