Join us for our first Pokémon GO Championship Series events of the season! The League Cup will start at 12pm, with team list submission from 11:30am to 12pm. League Cup entry is $10, League Challenge entry is $5. Prizing will be announced at each event, with prizing varying based on attendance. Top finishers will earn Championship Points toward an invitation to compete at the Pokémon World Championships.

Both tournaments will follow the GO Single Day structure as detailed in the Tournament Rules Handbook, meaning multiple rounds of Swiss potentially followed by a single elimination top cut. All rounds will be best of 3. The number of rounds will be based on number of players in the event. As with all local-level Pokémon GO Championship Series events, this tournament will be in the Great League, with restrictions as listed in the official rules (such as the Banned Pokémon List).

NOTE: Tournaments may be cancelled if less than four players are registered as of 10pm the night prior. If this occurs, registrants will be refunded and notified via email.

What should I bring?

• Your Player ID number. If you don’t have a Player ID, you can get one on the Pokémon website.
• A filled out team list. A blank list can be found on the Pokémon website – there will be blank lists available at the tournament as well. If you have your list(s) ready ahead of time, you can email it to goodgames@chicagopokemon.com.
• A charged phone for Pokémon GO – we will have outlets available, but may not have a charger for your phone. Wi-Fi is available at the store.
• Yourself! Make sure you arrive on time. If you are late, you may not be able to play in the event, so make sure to arrive in time to submit your list!
